Energy-Efficient Upgrades

Energy-Efficient Upgrades

Think Differently & Act Differently is a 24-month Erasmus+ project (February 2022 – January 2024) with the main objective to raise awareness and motivate people to adopt a more environmentally friendly behavior. The project’s goal is to encourage families to adopt in their homes more environmentally friendly behaviors by transitioning from the consumerist economy (buy-use-throw) to the circular economy.

As part of the project framework, partners conducted workshops and awareness campaigns either in person or online, aligning with the TD&AD project plan. We observed that these workshops effectively equipped participants with essential knowledge about the circular economy and recycling, empowering them to actively implement the acquired insights and skills in real-life scenarios.

Through interviews conducted with six families after the workshops, driven by the motivation gained during our “Think Differently & Act Differently” project workshops, embraced transformative actions that will be presented in forthcoming blog posts.

The 4th Family – Energy-Efficient Upgrades

The 4th family embraced energy-efficient upgrades throughout their home. They replaced traditional
lighting with LED bulbs, installed smart thermostats for optimized heating and cooling, and upgraded to energy-efficient appliances. Through these changes, they demonstrated the tangible benefits of
minimizing energy consumption. Through their advocacy, and leading by their example, they’ve
inspired and empowered their neighbors to consider and embrace renewable energy solutions for a more sustainable future.
