Accessible Recycling

Think Differently & Act Differently is a 24-month Erasmus+ project (February 2022 – January 2024) with the main objective to raise awareness and motivate people to adopt a more environmentally friendly behavior. The project’s goal is to encourage families to adopt in their homes more environmentally friendly behaviors by transitioning from the consumerist economy (buy-use-throw) to the circular economy. generic adderall discount coupon

As part of the project framework, partners conducted workshops and awareness campaigns either in person or online, aligning with the TD&AD project plan. We observed that these workshops effectively equipped participants with essential knowledge about the circular economy and recycling, empowering them to actively implement the acquired insights and skills in real-life scenarios.

Through interviews conducted with six families after the workshops, driven by the motivation gained during our “Think Differently & Act Differently” project workshops, embraced transformative actions that will be presented in forthcoming blog posts.

The 6th Family

Upon reflection after the workshops, the members of the 6th family observed a significant gap in recycling infrastructure in their neighborhood. Specifically, in the Neapolis area, in the city of Larissa, a bustling square surrounded by various food shops lacked sufficient recycling bins in the adjacent streets. This family, keened on promoting environmental responsibility, took proactive measures by
mapping key streets around the square. Subsequently, they reached out to the city authorities, highlighting the deficiency and urging prompt action to install recycling bins in the identified areas. Their advocacy serves as a commendable effort to enhance recycling accessibility and promote a more sustainable urban environment.
